Yealm YC's Bella Fellows Gets the Gold!
The 2017 RYA Youth National Championships took place 8-14th April at Hayling Island SC, with many youngsters coming from all around the country to compete in their respective class. Peter Scott Memorial Trophy 2017 Results
The Peter Scott Memorial Trophy is the first round of three part Cadet World Team Selection Series. This year the event took place on the 13-14th April at WPNSA, with Cara Bland and crew Ines Green of Waldringfield SC coming out on top, finishing first in four of their six races. Megan Ferguson and Ollie Mears (Frensham Pond SC/Royal Corinthian YC) took second with one race win, and Bettine Harris and Sam Goult (Bristol Corinthian YC/Frensham Pond SC) finished in third place

Rock S&WC 2017 Easter Chase Results
The Easter Chase at Rock Sailing & Waterski Club took place over the weekend. 23 entries took part in the 4 race series. David Wade finished top of the pile in his Merlin Rocket with a win, two seconds and a third. Supernova Spring Championships 2017
Bowmoor Sailing Club hosted the 2017 Supernova Spring Championships on the 7th April. 41 entries took part in the three race event, with two results to count. Race 1 was won by Cliff Milliner of Cotswold SC, with Alex Collins (Bolton SC) taking second and Mike Gibson (Bartley) in third. UK Laser Masters Inland Championships 2017
Now in its third year, the UK Laser Masters Inland Champs took place at Chew Valley Lake Sailing Club in 2017. There was a record number of entries, with 67 Lasers initially entered for the six race championship. The conditions were challenging on the lake for the earlier races, with light breezes that shifted regularly. SW Sailors have a good showing at the Burghfield SC Blaze Open
The Blaze Open at Burghfield SC took place over the 1st-2nd April, with fifteen entries taking part in a series of seven races. The Burghfield locals had a good turn out and put in a strong performance taking places 2nd to 5th, but it was North Devon Yacht Club's Hugh Kingdon who finished on top, taking three first places and two seconds.
