Second Round of the Noble Marine Travellers Trophy for Supernovas

March 22, 2017

The second round of the Noble Marie TT took place at Cotswold Sailing club on the 18th March. The forecast was for gusty weather and the conditions didn't disappoint, with winds reaching 15-25kts.

The regatta was made up of three races, each one hard fought, right through the pack.  The first race was won by Cliff Millner, who was followed home by Gavin Young and Mike Gibson.  Young got the better of Millner in the the second race, with Gibson again claiming third.

It all came down to the last race and a head-to-head battle between Millner and Young.  Eventually it was Young who was able to pull away from the field and take the race and CSC Challenge Cup victory.  Millner was second, and Gibson third.
