Channel Chop Cancelled, Roadford Rocket has been rearranged for 28th March 2020

The storms battering the UK have unfortunately led to the cancelation of R8, the Channel Chop.

With more bad weather and strong gusts of over 35-40mph forecast for this coming weekend, Portishead YSC committee was left with no option but to cancel the Channel Chop for 2020.

However, it isn't all bad news! Roadford have announced that they will be able to re-schedule the Roadford Rocket to Saturday 28th March. This race will therefore become the last in our SSW Winter Series, with the series prizegiving taking place after the racing at Roadford.

Emails will be sent out to previous Roadford Entries about the rescheduled date, asking for confirmation or withdrawal from the race and the entry page on our website is now open for new entries too.

The Exmoor Beastie at Wimbleball SC and Torbay Tornado are also scheduled to take place on the 15th and 21st March respectively.
